Southwest Michigan Treasure
Tucked into the woods along the shores of Lake Allegan in Southwest Michigan, Whisper Ridge is a peaceful bed and breakfast made for slowing down and savoring the moment. It’s a special place we love to share, where nature, comfort, and quiet come together. Spend your days exploring nearby Saugatuck or Holland, browsing antique shops, or simply relaxing on the deck as the gentle lake breeze drifts by.
Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids are less than an hour away, while Chicago and Detroit are just two and a half hours from our door — close enough for an easy escape, yet a world apart in serene, wooded seclusion. Come experience what it truly means to relax.

From our TripAdvisor reviews:
“The 1893 vintage caboose was really a special experience, even if you’re not a train nut. The attention to detail is so impressive - many vintage artifacts. The place is very attractive, inside and out, nestled in a thicket of dense trees with the lake a few yards away.”
2-Room Suite with Fireplace and Jacuzzi Tub
Located within our log home, the 2-room Franklin suite has a spacious bedroom with adjacent Jacuzzi tub bath for two, and adjoining sitting room with a gas-log fireplace. With its own private outside entry, it’s a perfect romantic setting with both rooms overlooking the lake.
From our TripAdvisor reviews:
“The Franklin Suite was more than I expected. I found myself mesmerized by all the unique antiques displayed. It was comfortable and cozy, yet spacious - stepping out to view the lake was icing on the cake. Did I mention the Jacuzzi with the candles? I could go on and on about the quiet beauty of the big log cabin in the woods, but my words would pale in comparison to the actual experience of Whisper Ridge.”
